A640 CNC spark erosion machine has three axis simultaneous control and DMNC's 5th generation electrical discharging machining control system, best surface finish Ra0.2μm, Min. electrode wear ≤0.1%, standard equipped with 50A controller and Max machining efficiency 500mm3/min. It is ram type CNC EDM machine, the working table of A640 is fixed, so it can load heavy molds without affecting motion of X and Y axis while moving.

Intelligent CNC Control Power
We provide customers smart expert database of "different material, different speed and different wear", customers could adopt different types according to practical requirements. Most importantly, we provide artificial intelligent/expert system. To an operator of EDM machines, it is necessary to know well how to do programming; should have sufficient  experience and machining technology; should be able to calculate shrinkage of electrode; should know how to set orbital cutting value or shaking value. Any of these factors has problem would lead to defect or failure machining. Therefore, if best machining conditions are chosen by control system and minimize the dependence to operator, EDM technology would achieve a remarkable step to unmanned operation. AI/Expert System combines relative knowledge, of how to choose proper machining parameters for EDM machining, with programming design, which makes machine have capacity of solving problems by itself, just like experts. For instance, current of rough machining, it could be decided by safe current of the projected area of electrode. Current of finish machining could be decided by required surface finish. Store up experience of years into knowledge base with some rules. AI/Export System, after receiving outsource data (electrode's material, shrinkage of the electrode, electrode's projected area, machining depth, roughness etc.) Then based on basic database in the knowledge base, and then calculate and choose suitable options, and output best machining parameters. Besides, some fuzzy control technology is brought into impulse power control system, it can simulate how some skilled operators think in setting parameters, and it can achieve:  solve problem of machining technology at certain time and certain requirement of accuracy. For more convenient operation, there is real-time assist and guide function in impulse power control system.
